Digital Development and Mentoring Program

Our digital development and mentoring program is aimed at senior managers and directors who feel they need access to professional advice on any aspect of the digital economy AND how it might relate to their business strategy. This includes relationships with other key operating functions such as Finance, IT, Production, Marketing, Logistics and Sales.

All our mentors have held senior digital roles in leading organisations but have also had significant exposure to other business functions.

How it works

Although we have a range of digital mentors available each mentored individual will be allocated a primary mentor who is their first port of call for any advice. The choice of mentor will be decided by a combination matching their skills and experience to your needs, and through a chemistry meeting.

While we envisage that this person will be able to personally meet most of your requirements they will of course have access to E-consultancy's wider network of experts should you require.

What topics can a mentor help with?

We would like to think that a well matched mentor will be able to help you with any question you may have, digital or not. However our experience shows that typical areas where mentors are used are:

This is not an exhaustive list and the key thing is that whatever the topic we are just a phone call away.

Costs

We offer two programs depending on your needs. Both require a minimum commitment of one year.

Mentoring light

• Initial briefing meeting with Training Director
• Initial 2 hour chemistry and 'understand your business' meeting
• Personal online mentoring area (see below)
• Quarterly face2face meeting with main contact (including prep and follow up)
• Invitation to two VIP events to meet and network with other senior delegates and receive key topic briefings
• 2 hours e-mail and phone support each month (running ideas past mentor)
• Roundtable invites to match your personal development plans
• E-consultancy telephone support for advice on other issues such as contacts, suppliers

Other meetings (such as other specialists) or requirements (research/business plans etc) will be charged additionally at our day rate of £1500.

Cost £12k per annum.

Mentor

• Initial briefing meeting with Training Director
• Initial 2 hour chemistry and 'understand your business' meeting
• Personal online mentoring area (see below)
• Monthly face2face meeting with main contact (including prep and follow up)
• Invitation to two VIP events to meet and network with other senior delegates and receive key topic briefings
• 4 hours e-mail and phone support each month (running ideas past mentor)
• 4 hours call of time each month (can roll over) for prep, research, report writing, meetings with other specialists
• Roundtable invites to match your personal development plans
• E-consultancy telephone support for advice on other issues such as contacts, suppliers

Cost £36k per annum.

If these options don't entirely suit your requirements we can put together a bespoke solution. If your business had multiple requirements for mentoring we would be able to provide these services at a discounted rate.

Further information

Personal online mentoring area

This area allows you and your mentor (and any other experts you are working with) to communicate online and record discussions/assets/research etc. This means that you can always refer back to questions/discussions and also easily access documents etc that have been posted to assist you.

VIP events

Invite-only events for senior managers and directors. You will be invited to two per year which best match your interests/sector. The sessions are only open to people from our mentoring program, MSc in Digital Communications program and selected Corporate clients.
