Before you add your press release, please note:

Only corporate members or those who have purchased the press release distribution service may use it. Multiple companies, or agency clients, cannot add press releases under a single membership or service purchase.
Press releases must meet our criteria as stated above and be in a standard format, with contact details.
All press releases will be manually approved by E-consultancy's Editor before going live. E-consultancy reserves the right not to publish any press release, at our absolute discretion, even if it meets the stated criteria.

1. Why add your press release to E-consultancy?

Press releases that are published on E-consultancy are quickly tracked by other major news publishers, including Google News and NewsNow. They are also e-mailed out directly to journalists and users who are signed up to our Press Alerts service. This means your press release can be seen by far more than the 150,000+ unique users that visit E-consultancy each month.

2. How much does it cost to add press releases?

Corporate Membership (€2,969) or Gold Membership (€519) entitle companies to free, unlimited, press release distribution through E-consultancy.

However, you can also buy 5 press releases per annum for €149.

3. Can PR agencies use the service?

Yes. There are 2 ways this can be done. If the agency's client is a Corporate Member then the client may authorise the agency to publish press releases on their behalf through E-consultancy.

If the client is not a member, then the PR agency must purchase a separate service for each client. For agencies with many relevant clients, contact us to discuss special pricing.

4. What criteria must the press release meet?

In order for E-consultancy to publish your press release it must meet the following criteria:

Topic – must be related to online marketing, e-commerce, interactive media, digital channels (web, wireless, DiTV).
Timing - release must be sent in a timely fashion. Anything more than a day or so old will not be published lest we damage the credibility of the service.
Geography – must be UK-focused or have a UK angle.
Format – must be text only, no formatting is possible.
Quality - the release must well-written, newsworthy and of high professional standards. You warrant that it will be free from defamatory, racist, inflammatory, obscene and other restricted material.

5. Can E-consultancy refuse to publish your press release?

Yes. E-consultancy reserves the right not to publish any press release, at our absolute discretion, even if it meets the stated criteria. E-consultancy will not reasonably refuse to add your press release. No refunds or discounts are offered for any individual press releases which E-consultancy decides not to publish, however press releases which we decide not to publish will not count as one of the 5 allowed per year (where you do not have the unlimited service).
